We are a Family of believers who gather together regularly to worship God and to encourage one another to share the love of Christ in our homes with our families, in our community with our neighbors and in the world with those we encounter.

Our Rights Come Only From God

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable right.” This quote comes from the Declaration of Independence that was written to proclaim that , specifically the king of England, nor any man or government can give rights to man. If they have that power it stands to reason that they also have the power to remove those rights. Because our founders recognized that rights come only from our Creator they knew that He only has the authority to take them from us.
The law, Constitution, of this great country, as we know, is based upon the only standard law ever given to man. We need to be constantly reminded that there is only one standard, God and His Word, as all others are moving, living, targets according to our own selfish desires. The need for people who know His word to be involved in making law to protect these inalienable rights becomes more apparent as we see the rush toward the cliff. Are we people or lemmings? Mike Hanson
