GOD Judges Nations

Day 3- 37 Days To Go

God Does Judge Nations

In His perfect way, the Word gives us not just a glimpse of his story, (His Story), but many instances of judgment due to not following godly moral values. Psalms 91:7The wicked shall be burned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Judges 2:11-14, (my paraphrase) The Israelites did evil, forsook the Lord, followed other gods and provoked Him to anger. He handed them over to raiders from countries that hated God and did not even recognize Him.

When God judges a nation for the behavior of certain people in that nation, abortionists and homosexuals perhaps, or because of leadership that proposes and institutes immoral laws: you and I , followers of Christ and our children will also suffer the physical consequences. Believers may have not voted for these leaders, but in not voting did allow their acceptance as rulers and law-makers. There are too many instances where national leaders have turned their backs on Israel and within 24 hours the nation has suffered severe weather related catastrophes. Who is in charge here? Jesus Is Involved

Our Lord Is Involved In Running Government

39 days left

When I read that my Lord confronted the leaders of government over issues that were wrong in His eyes it is a clear admonition to me to follow Him. It is a fact that the religious leaders and government leaders of the Jewish people were the same, as God originally intended, for all just laws come from Him. He taught those that came to Him, Nicodemus and Joseph, who just happened to loan Him a resting place for a short week-end . Those that didn’t come to Him, He got into their face over issues that were antithetical to His teachings. When the people did not hold Eli and Samuel accountable for not raising Godly leadership they asked for leaders (kings) who would then take away their best children and a large amount of their property. When we do not hold our leaders accountable, they assume the role of kingship and pass laws that take wrongly from some to give to others and to themselves. Pray for Christians in leadership to be strong to follow Him and for those that know Hims seeking office to be successful and faithful. Mike

A Plea to Vote

DAY 1

The Consequences of Inactivity

If you have ever thought that your voice, only one little vote amongst millions, doesn’t matter, please reconsider that thought. God has made you to be significant and each decision you make is important to Him. For too long Christians have believed that in today’s modern, liberated ,(read post-Christian), state we are to leave our faith at the door when we enter the voting booth so we choose instead to stay home and sulk. I pray that you can see the voice of the liar in that premise as listening to him is why we have laws today that are post-Christian, anti-God or a plethora of liberal names.

If the 40 million non-voting evangelical had gone to the polls 56 million babies would have life today, same-sex marriage would not be a question even considered, the jails would not be over crowded (1.7 trillion dollars annually for police, court and penal system), and many more issues we will discover in our 40 days of prayer for our nation. If you need prayer suggestions, ask God to prick the conscious of all who call upon His Name to become involved as voters.

An Introduction

Tomorrow, the 40th day before our national election, I will start a series that should get us excited about our rights and responsibilities as children of God. The major point is that all elections decide who is going to make the laws that we are called to adhere to and live under. All laws are based upon somone’s moral base, so do we want them based on a moral base determined by Godly people or the other kind? Remember that either we are for God or we are against Him, there is no fence sitting in this arena. Mike
